What Is The Family Pickle?

Our mission is to promote healthy living through pickleball, fostering kindness, service, and sportsmanship in new generations of players. We provide a top-quality pickleball experience for players of all levels, growing the sport, strengthening the community, and encouraging family unity.

Pickleball is the brainchild of three fathers, Joel Pritchard, Bill Bell, and Barney McCallum. On a mission to create summertime fun for their families, the three used what they had on hand to create what is now the fastest growing sport in North America. The Family Pickle, the passion project of two central Texan dad's, is here to continue on that legacy and help make pickleball accessible to exactly what it was made for, families! With dynamic memberships and family friendly amenities, we will be the place for picklers of all ages in Austin Texas.
